This could be a trap game, Rockets could be looking ahead to next Tuesday against the Zips. Rockets won the first one by 14 but the game was a lot closer than the final score. On the other hand BGSU has lost 6 in a row, starting with the UT lost in Toledo. This game will go either way, a UT total landslide or it will be very close. Nonetheless, the Rockets will win.

BGs bench post men hurt us badly. If Edu’s defense continues to improve he might challenge them a bit more. I say we win by 15.

Agee was a problem for us in the previous game but he hasn't been playing a lot lately for whatever reason. Huger, as usual, has been playing around with lineups and minutes trying to find the right chemistry, I guess. Their pg Methany has been hot lately. Need to D him up early so he can't get in a groove.

Metheny a descent point guard, but not spectacular in any way or fashion. First time a round, I believe he scored BG's first points, a 3, and then was shut down the rest of the game. On his home floor, I don't think UT will hold him down that low unless he gets into foul trouble. Huger, knowing what he did with his big men first time around, may try to the same thing ,bringing Agee out of moth balls for this one. Should be a sold out arena.

Last game against CMU at home on Valentine's day, Metheny scored 19 points, Ayers had 9, 4 boards, Turner 9, 7 boards. Agee did scored 11 points off the bench, only 3 boards before 1500 fans. Bass of CMU had 25 points.

You would think BG would treat this rivalry game as “Custard’s Last Stand” as they are slowly losing their grip on making the 8 team MAC Tournament next month. However, not being competitive in their last two road games at Kent St and Ball St and then losing at home this past game to CMU, you got to wonder where their head and heart is. Toledo on the other hand is on a roll and not playing down to their competition which would be very easy to do at this juncture in the season. Toledo has controlled this rivalry for several years now, and while I think BG will provide us a very good test on their home court, I think Toledo is to locked in right now to let an upset happen. But that’s why they play the game!

Not that it matters to the NCAA selection committee (1 bid league), losing to BG would be a bad lost for the Rockets.

I'm with everyone above. Trap game, but they are on a roll as well. This should be a good test. A game we "should' win" but a hostile environment as well, against a long time rivalry when you can throw out all else. Git r done!

This builds on what our goals should be - 3 games in Cleveland - and I hope our coaching staff treats it that way. I think they will.
