Hey, what kinds of info and features can we look forward to?





I don't mind keeping up w/ the Pirate baskteball, football, and baseball games of the week thread(s).

Basically the ECU shortned version of my CUSA Week XX, and CUSA Hoops Week XX/XX - XX/XX. Never done baseball..but I think it owuld be worht a shot.


I defiantley think we need the following site links/features

Pirate Links:
ECU merchandising sales ( aka UBE, Pirate Stuff, and any retaile w/ a site that sells Pirate goods)
News: ECU sites like Bonseville, WITN, WNCT, WCTI, PR1250, T10170, WRAL, DR, N&O, CUSA.com (aka official CUSA site)
OTHER FAN SITES: While we may hate some of think sites like Minges Maniacs, freinds of ECU baseball, and the sites we don't particularly care for
Links to streaming audio about the Pirates that isn't on CSTVs package. ( like the 5th Q call in Show on PR1250.... )

Links to ESPN/CSTV game trackers.

Links to Pirate sections of ESPN, Foxsportsnet, cbssportsline ect....

Possibly an animated schedule for all our sports, an animated standings in all our sports

can you make a running mp3 for audio while viewing hte page of the ECU Fight Song? Or the trrademark "First down Pirates" /"Arrrgggghh" .

I also think it would kick aZZ if we can get a video posted of the Football Intro!!! ..The poem, the audio, the video.... Maybe even a clip of Pirate bball that show on the screens in Minges (the highlights playing while players are getting introduced) w/ some Wlecome to the Jungle going on... or "We Ready..."

I think it's pretty open, honestly. Most of your ideas are probably do-able, IMHO, with the exception of links to merchandise and embedded audio/video. The first is probably a little too...Rivals for NCAAbbs and the second is probably a bit much for everbody (server, visitors, etc).

And y'know, if you're just looking to have a central place like ECUbbs to store the files (or at least links to files), you can use this board. I'll sticky 'em and everything.

yeah...to second my thought (and to boost post count) I think the ability to upload photos would be sweet. Be they Pirate realted or otherwise...but into two distinct categories....Pirate Sports and OTHER

That might be a bit much, considering we will be sharing space on the server with the rest of the NCAAbbs family. However, there are about 40 bazillion free ftp sites out there we could use to store the files and save the links over here.
