I read this and it makes me wonder what these numbers would be for B10 prospective invitees like Kansas, and various PAC and/or ACC schools.
I don't know the info, but I thought someone here might : )
Anyone?
I was hoping it could crack the glass a bit on some of the things media companies might look at when deals are being hammered out.

It's pretty simple really. Star players at the G5 level and lower get snatched up by NIL and the transfer portal. At the top 2/3rds of P5 schools players who have ability but are down in the depth chart enter the portal for playing time. The Portal is leveling the playing field a bit by depleting the depth chart, not by stealing starters from other P5 schools. Now the bottom third of the P schools could lose a starter to a bigger brand simply for exposure.
I don't think it is much more than that.
So, the bottom 1/3rd could experience some value loss with starters who move for more exposure. The G5 and below will remain valued where they are, and the consequences to the depth charts for LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, Georgia, Penn State will be seen pretty much as the cost of new business and shouldn't impact the value of the top schools.
