David Reeves hired at Jasper High School as HC
I'll post a link as soon as it's available, but Jasper High School has hired David Reeves as HC. Jasper's HC stepped down this year to pursue other career opportunities.

I understand BV to New Mexico (G5/MW) but Reeves to a HS is surprising. I guess he really wants some head coaching experience and to stay in the area.

The UAB defense was very good under Reeves. If he wants to be a high school coach, good for him. If he wanted to continue as a college coach but didn't get an opportunity, that is a shame!

He coached me (well the DBs) in highschool about 20 years ago. I think his entire coaching career is in Alabama, that may play a role. I am surprised by his move back to high school.

How much time does he have in the state retirement system? How old are his kids?
Those could be factors in taking the job.
