The coaching staff has been on the road the past few weeks getting offers out to the 2024 guys. We had some of the new coaches out there recruiting before their hiring was even announced.

I've seen some offers out to some big tackles, 6'6" and 6'7", both HS recruits and JUCO guys. Looks like they want to beef the line back up. I guess they weren't impressed with starting 6'3" 280 lb. Jack Sherwin at right tackle...

I’m seeing more 4 star offers than I’ve seen before.

PJ also recruited players with P5 offers while TL not so much.
Resulting success is quite obvious.

Does anyone know if we recruited 2024 QB Waterford Mott Kalieb Osborne? He’s 6’4” 200 lbs. 3 star with an 87.0 rating. Committed to Toledo today.

2024 football recruiting class, is there anybody out there, with a pulse, that CMU hasn’t offered? Guess they’re using the shotgun approach again.

That's what they always do. Every year it seems like they offer twice as many players as we do.

Still crickets on the commitment front. We've been hosting a lot of recruits throughout spring ball, and continue to hand out offers. No bites yet.

Toledo already has 9 commits, including 3 that had WMU offers. One of them is Matt Hofer, brother of current WMU O-lineman John Hofer.

Miami has 8 commits, and again, 3 of them had WMU offers.

We need to get going. Get after these guys!

Coach Taylor is the new kid on the block. No experience at the head coach level. Pretty sure our competition will make this perfectly clear to recruits and not in a positive sense.

It wouldn't be the off-season if we didn't panic about recruiting! Maybe we're due for a poor class by ratings, but the last really bad recruiting class we've had was the Darnell years, in terms of mass JuCos.

WMU is one of the better spots to be recruiting from vs other MAC schools. School, town, campus, facilities, people.... nice spot to be.

True statement. With all the Louisville transfers not one followed him to Kalamazoo. Im sure not all those kids were upper P5 talent.

Could be because his stated goal is to wear Green & White like his dad.
