After a close one point win over Troy last Saturday at the AUBC the Dukes head out for game one of their upcoming four game road trip. First stop for the first place 17-3, 7-1 in Conference Dukes is Myrtle Beach SC to face the Chanticleers at the HTC Center at CCU. The Dukes beat Coastal in their first Sunbelt Conference game back on Dec 29 77-56. Coastal is currently 9-10 overall and 4-4 in Conference coming off a loss last Saturday at Ap St.

Wife and I will be heading down for the game and three of the four on this road trip (won't make the game at So Al). Hope to see a few Purple and Gold clad fans at the game Thursday ROOTIN!!

JMU leads by one at the end of first quarter. Coastal is quick and feisty - JMU has a big height advantage so hopefully they use that as the game goes forward.

Dukes shooting less than 20%....most of the missed shots have not been bad ones, just not falling for them.

Is it just me or is this main camera angle a little hard? Almost like a birdseye view in a small gym.

Kozlova has the height, but that opponent has the um girth to power it up like Chuck Barkley.

Down by as much as 10, they need to tighten this up. Some really light contact fouls being called, Peyton sitting on the bench with 2 early fouls so hopefully in the 2nd half she gets it going.

Dukes down 24-31 at the half. We can't buy a 3-point shot (1-11) and we've committed nine turnovers. If they can fix those things and watch the foul situation, I think we will be fine. Coastal is playing much better than they did in Harrisonburg in December.

I would love to see the team be more aware of where the inbound lines are at each arena - including the AUBC. It seems like several times each game JMU has turned the ball over because a player steps out of bounds.

Dukes get the Coastal lead down to five but Coastal responds and leads by 10 at the end of three quarters. Time to get serious......

As quick as they got it down to 5 it blew back up to 10 at the end of the 3rd. Hoping Peyton and/or Kiki step up and take over the 4th.

Let’s wait until we’re inside 3 minutes and down 16+ to trap and play inspired defense. Shame they let this embarrassing one get so far away after chipping it down to 5.
