US Navy has gone to the F-18 Super Hornet as their primary air superiorty plane. They are also in the bidding for the joint force strike fighter that has not come out yet.
I love the F-14 though, it just looks like it was meant for war and dog fighting. My dad flew the F-4 which has also been long retired but was a great War Horse.
My guess is you could fly a crop duster and anhilate most posters on these boards
