What's not to love? Old, old, school - "Home Team Sports", Larry Houzer, and a come from behind win at Trask.
Speaking of Old School Trask, look at that crowd and how intense the end zones used to be - and the crowd reaction at the end of the game!
At the 1:39.23 mark i'm in the student section wearing a gray SAE sweatwhirt, lol.
Busted!
But seriously - while it looks like the students have been really picking it up the last couple of years - today's crowds have a long way to go to match that intensity! And look how much more the endzones added to to the snake-pit environment.

We only had about 4,000 students at UNCW as well. To be fair, I don't think they limited the number of students that could attend. Now, they cut them off and won't let students attend if too many show up and the student area is much smaller. We really do waste the bleacher space behind the baskets. Perfect place for students.
Trask certainly was much louder with an additional 1000 fans. The noise meters that were there then could certainly get a workout.
I was in Sec.3, Row E, seat 8 for that one. Good ol' Roy Walker - 58% free thrower, but he sank two ggood ones. Sic semper piratae!
