National Signing Day 2022 (12/21/22)
That's interesting. I wonder what happened? By all social media accounts Spainhour was all about W&M and was in town for OV weekend. Perhaps that random Baylor fan was on to something when he said Spainhour was looking to "transfer". Maybe he felt 3 OL in this class was a little too crowded.

Yeah, he still has his June commitment tweet to the Tribe pinned to the top of his twitter feed. ... who knows? maybe he'll sign later with the Tribe?

Very true. We get fixated so much on the opening signing day, but it actually goes to the end of the week.

Something I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere. New TE signee Jackson Blee played for South Point HS in Belmont, NC. Do you know the last stud TE from South Point?
His name was Nick Muse and I think we can agree he had a pretty good couple years in Williamsburg.

Just looked over the 2023 Roster, very, very solid. Get some guys fully healthy and build depth. Perhaps a transfer or two at some spots. OL looks great with Marcus back, some of the younger guys got to play at the end of the year. Will we see Tyler and Josh with bigger roles at WR? Nice stable of RB's , hope Perkins has a great recovery. LB's look good, lots of guys with experience. Great to see Poole back.

Hoping the end of season steels these guys for next year.

London says they are not through adding to the roster (did not specify transfers or more recruits).

National Signing Day 2022 (12/21/22)
With our returning depth, I'm not sure how many of our incoming true freshman will play in 2023. But, I'm excited for this class. The common thread is size and speed.
- The 2 Dline men (Viezi & Williams) look like they are nasty with high motors.
- the LB Rainer is a thumper that is smart. Future defensive captain.
- The 2 DBs (Robinson & McGill) look like they could play early. Physical ball hawks.
- The OL recruits share similar size and traits that have succeeded in our system. Strong, mobile, & finishers on their blocks.
- Glass & Dobler will be nice additions to the DE group. Both are a little raw but possess high end measurables.
- Brannock will be buried in the depth chart, but he appears to have the arm and moxy to succeed at the D1 level.
- Robertson at WR and Blee at TE are high end athletes at their positions. Both have speed, hands, and length. It wouldn't surprise me if Blee is in the mix to fill the void Pitts left us.

All in all, a strong and impressive class. Plus, we still have the late signing period to come and possible transfers.

Strong group fitting with the style and culture of Tribe Football! Never cease to be amazed by the diverse interests of our guys. Gerald Williams has to be our first ever who was part of Knitting Club in high school!

An untapped NIL niche. Also speaks to his intelligence. Allows for speed dating in volume, and with minimal cost.

Robertson may very well stick at WR but watching his film he reminded me of Gage Herdman in the safety position.

I had that reaction when I watched this film of PWO commit Jaden Boring. Scratching my head why he didn't have more offers. Herdman was offered only by us and Navy. At 6'4" 215 Boring looks like the same type of player Herdman was.

If he sticks with W&M, I could see PWO Jaden Boring (6'4 215lbs) in that safety roll. He's not quite as fast as Robertson, but he moves well and is built better to hand out punishment.
