2 ranked teams playing in a bowl on a weekday should be at night, not a 2pm. ESPN really messed that up. These teams deserve a better kickoff time.

ESPN is contracted to show Warriors/76ers at 6:30pm CT. ESPN2 is contracted to the FCS Semifinal at 7pm

I work night shift tonight so I’ll probably just be waking up or even still asleep when we kick off. I already got butterflies in my stomach right now because I’ll basically fall asleep in 9 hours only to wake up to the game in what will feel like 10 mins later.

Its a Weird year, normally both of these bowls are played on Saturday, but New Years Day falls on a Sunday, which means bowls can't play that day because of the NFL. Likewise that means the NFL is going to be playing on Saturday the 24th for Christmas Eve this year, so no bowl games that day. Likewise, this is the first year that New Years has been on a Sunday since the NFL expanded to 17 game seasons, that means there's now Monday Night Football on Monday the 2nd, so you can't run your normal NY6 games on Monday Night either. Its forced every game to be moved around significantly

I think they just ran out of space. A lot of bowls have weird dates this year, the Mobile Bowl is also in a weird spot.

To be fair, it's not at 2:00 p.m. where I live, it's at 3:00 p.m. so by the third quarter it's going to be dark here on the East coast, LOL
