It's better to convict Trump. Not only is Biden guaranteed to beat DeSantis anyways (in which case Trump running 3rd party isn't needed), you're also demonizing the Republican Party to the point of no return for it.

I see the Republicans as toast either way.

In order to convict Trump, they are going to have to produce sufficient competent evidence to prove that he committed a crime. So far, none of that has been forthcoming.

as narcissistic as DJT is (or anyone that has ever held 'wanted' the office in the modern era), no fk'n way he runs indy ... I simply don't believe he would dick himself or his children/legacy in that manner ... all parties would be better served going out the 'martyr' ((also remember, I told you guys after '20, he was better served pining for candidates (which he did) ... yep, got that one right, too ... now I know how fk'd this country is moving forward))

what really amazes me, is how he survived the scope of drooled/gnashing/destructive msm/opposition onslaught artificially created once he announced as a pub ... yeah, I'm still crackin' the fk-up over what I wrote back then ... sometimes (used rarely), "told ya, fkrs" works for me, too!

w/o question, I believe the bulk of the masses want the same ... however, in peaceful times, that's become the conundrum of 21st century capitalism ... potus or any other is no longer a 'personality contest via the boob-tube' ... the cabal finally figgled it out ...

Be curious to see if the pat 4 point ps on Biden lessens after DeSantis announce grand juries for vaccine makers.

They can convict him of being a terrorist (or anything else they want) in DC with a hand picked judge and jury. It probably won’t stick but that doesn’t matter to them.

But that doesn't make him right. My prediction remains that Donald Trump will be the source of a lot of unpleasant noise in 2023 and the early part of 2024. But he will invariably fizzle out - - both from his own political incompetence and from an unwillingness to spend his own money.

The lefties will do their utmost to prop him up for as long as they possibly can. But in the end it will be for naught. Ron DeSantis will ably deflect and counter every underhanded attack leveled at him by the conjoined media and DNC and will win in a rout in 2024.

Stand by. President DeSantis and Vice President Paul/Pompeo/Gabbard will be on hand to salvage what is left of America by Jan. 2025.

Unless they can do something about ballot harvesting and mass mail in voting its all immaterial because no republican can get to 270.

Nothing will be done about it. Even if the Republicans tried to do something about it, the leftist MSM would just spin it as voter suppression, just like they did in Georgia.

Why not? Trump is about Trump and only about Trump. A petulant whiny child who will break any toy he can't have. So yes I can see him lashing out with threats. And I can see him using information he gained during his presidency against DeSantis.... as he is already alluded to. All the Democrats have to do is sit back and let Trump be Trump.

In the normal course of events things change pretty quickly. I'll take that bet without hesitation.

1. The phrase “what is left” is ominous. 2. As an undercard, I would greatly enjoy “Cheney v Gabbard”. Unfortunately, I doubt that we’ll get the chance to see that happen.

RE: DeSantis up 23 points on Trump up 4 on Biden
This is a fake (or useless) poll. I mean, the results might be real, but the sample doesn't come anywhere near representing the republican primary and caucus electorate. People are looking at DeSantis and he indeed has a chance at this point, but he isn't up 23. Trump has 40-45% in the bag. And chances that it ends up being a 1-on-1 race with nobody else sensationalizing themselves into exciting significant chunks of the electorate are pretty low. For instance, there will likely be a libertarian, Ron Paul type candidate that gets anywhere from 5-15%, a neocon candidate that gets about 5%, and a religious based candidate that gets 5% (and likely a lot more in Iowa). By the time they drop out, Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina will be gone and Trump will have all the momentum. DeSantis will have to perform well enough in those states to be relevant enough to still carry Florida. He could do well in SC if all the energy doesn't fizzle from Iowa and NH, where there may not be as much appeal. If he does, it is game on, but Trump is going to be tough to beat.

I view him as far worse than Trump, but I'm weird I view GWB, GHWB, and Reagan as miles worse than Trump. I might even argue Clinton was worse long term than Trump from my perspective (NAFTA, Crime Bill, DOMA, pushing the Overton Window way right and starting the process of getting the Dems in bed with corporate interests as much as the GOP).

I need you to define what you consider a "leftist" to be, because I have a feeling it's going to include a whole bunch of people who I would be embarrassed to be associated with.
