for hosting the first CUSA Championship Game. You did an excellent job of securing an enormous crowd. From what I could see on TV, it looked like an exciting, well played game between two teams with great players and coaches. A classy example of what a championship game should be.

I have heard that your team preferred to go to the Hawaii Bowl. If so, I am pleased that the team got what it wanted. I thought you should have gotten the GMAC Bowl so that more of your great fan base could be in attendance.

Good luck in Hawaii. Hope Tulsa and UCF beat the hell out of the WAC. 04-cheers

I think the team might have preferred to go to the hawai'i bowl versus the gmac bowl, but the fans certainly did not. Oh well, we had a chance at the liberty and you guys took it away from us. Stat of the game -- Tulsa 0- UCF-4 turnovers. Great game, and garret mills is the real deal!

Wow....your team was awesome...particularly Paul Smith and Garrett Mills. There is no shame in losing to you. I just wish we had Mike Walker and didn't turn the ball over so much in the second half. It still was a picture perfect day and great game with a good crowd. Good luck with Fresno! See you next year! Congrats... 04-cheers

I go to Mobile for Christmas every year to see relatives, so the GMAC would've been great. However, I would've had to take a couple extra days off from work than I wanted to.

Heck, I'm just glad we're finally in a bowl game. We've been bowl-eligible four previous times and didn't go to a bowl because either (a) we were an independent and had no tie-ins or (b) the MAC didn't have enough bowl berths (this affected us in 2002, when we had 7 wins).

Sixteen days to Knight time in Honolulu!

The championship game was a great thing to be at. I am glad that we had it here so I could see it in person, but I am happier for the players that they get a trip to Hawaii for their hard work. 02-13-banana
