MyBB Basketball Thread (December)
ACC Football Championship Game behind us, conference is shut out of College Football Playoff, basketball season is upon us. The ACC/Big Ten Challenge is over (sadly for good 03-hissyfit). Conference play has begun.

Pastner beat Georgia State and U[sic]GA. Mission accomplished, good season, see everybody for the search in March.

I said this when he was hired: Mike Young will be one of the best coaches in the conference. He might be the best now. Hell of a hire, Gobblers.

Thankfully, UNC has a couple winnable games coming up to get the train back on the track.

Boston College lost to New Hampshire? They've also lost this year to Tarleton State and Maine. Can the ACC get any worse? At least on the bright side at least Louisville might have a chance to win a game this year:)

Yeah, they could have lost the ACC-Big Ten challenge.

You're bragging about a "good game" with an Ivy League school?

Just saw on Reddit, there are now literally TWO Div. 1 men's basketball teams that are still winless, Louisville and California. On what planet are we living on for this to happen in 2022 for two P5 schools to be the last two winless teams? I went through the standings and counted teams with just 1 win and counted just 15. I don't believe Louisville and California are the two worst teams in the country and I'm sure Florida State is the best one win team in the country but this is certainly unchartered territory. If Louisville doesn't win today, the countdown to next Saturday's game vs. Florida A&M begins. Louisville better win that game, Florida A&M is one of the 15 teams with just one win, if fact their win is over Albany State, I'm not even sure they are Division 1! They play Western Kentucky Wednesday night but WKU is 7-1.

Florida State 75-53. Louisville really is that bad.

Can I say they are now officially a football school?

Louisville lost by 20+ points to this FSU team? Before this game we lost our most consistent player, out for the year.

Carolina looked like preseason #1. As in they were actually moving the ball and making buckets.

RE: Basketball Thread (December)
UVA started out with a 9-0 lead over Houston
Then later was up 15-7 but by half time Houston was up 30-26.

The Wahoos have their work cut out for them.

edit : Houston is the highest ranked non-ACC opponent to ever come to JPJ.
