PFT, PMT, and JMU Pizza Party
PFT is a JMU alum and co-host of one of the bigger sports podcasts, Pardon My Take, with Big Cat at Barstool Sports. They threw a pizza party for the football guys today. Always good to have alum in well known places do fun things for the football team. PFT, and Barstool in general, have spoken about the team significantly more since they moved up. PFT's tweets are private so attaching a player tweet for everyone to see.

Fun Fact: If you look at PFT’s nose, it’s all kinds of mangled. This dates back to a rugby game we had @ UVA in 2006. The UVA pep band was heckling us from the stands shouting at how bad we were (it’s true, we were awful until about 2010 because we had no coach or funding). PFT yelled back “At least I don’t play in the pep band!”

The next time we were in a scrum, this d bag UVA player DECKED HIM in the face and broke his nose. We lost like 60 something to 0. But we will always have his nose to remember that game.

Good dude and a solid friend. Whenever we’re out in Manhattan, he always takes pictures with Pardon My Take fans.

PFT always seems genuine and is a Herndon alum. The way he rose to fame and popularity through commenting on a website was always quite impressive to me.

Looking at the pictures posted of the party on Twitter, James Carpenter is on a scooter and has a club on his hand from what appears to be surgery. Also, Nick Kidwell has a giant soft brace on his lower leg/ankle that looks like he probably had surgery as well. Two tough and very important dudes to our success this season

Interesting end of this article on the pizza party

RTD

“JMU coach Curt Cignetti said the administration would continue to lobby the NCAA to allow the Dukes to participate in a bowl game.

"You never know what might happen," he said.”
