Texas State beat writer Keff Ciardello of the Austin (Tx.) American-Statesman reports that Washington State OC Eric Morris has been offered by Texas State to be its next head coach over Sam Houston State head coach K.C. Keeler.

It's actually the Austin American Statesman, though with their current branding that mistake is understandable.

It appears Incarnate Word head coach G.J. Kinne is the choice at Texas State. Kinne was reportedly among the top choices for the vacant Tulsa job, too.
