World Cup — U.S. v Netherlands
Fortunately, part of my glorious Day of William and Mary sports in Williamsburg, is going to include watching the World Cup game.

Starting this thread for people to share any watch parties, they know of or they may develop. I need a place to watch the game in Williamsburg.

Maybe someone in Williamsburg has recently painted and you can go watch it dry. Same level of excitement as soccer.

Revolution Golf and Grill at High Street hosted American Outlaws watch parties for all 3 group games. I’m not sure if they’re planning to do it again for the Netherlands game, but I would guess so. I may try to watch it there, especially if it’s raining.

I've been told Brickhouse will be projecting the game on the wall

Youve got to hope that the rain clears out a bit earlier than forecast. This could have been the perfect into to a big home crowd, since I guarantee there will be way more locals and students watching US v NED world cup game than planning to go to Zable. BUT...the way social media works, there could have been momentum to "keep the party going" into Zable right from the delis etc. Rain will kill that student and casual fan interest.

I thought one of the problems with student attendance at playoff games was they have to pay full price for tickets. That would seem to dampen last minute interest.

While this is true, I had heard word that the school was picking up the tab for students. A pretty cool gesture if you ask me.

It's the least the school could do. As Ferrari said in Casablanca: "I shall remember to pay it....to myself".
