Looks like he is staying, I'm still surprised they have not hired Freeze already.

Going on right now.
Still hammering out financials.

Finebaum, SMH.
Kiffin's team starting 7-0 and then losing 4 of their remaining 5 games might have had a part in this decision, too.

Auburn owes Harsin a $15.5 million buyout, and 50% of that is due within 30 days of his termination.

Freeze agreed to a new eight-year deal at Liberty in October with an average salary of just under $5 million per year, making him one of the highest-paid Group of 5 coaches in the country.

lol
"After a thoughtful, thorough, and well-vetted search, we ended where we started, with Hugh Freeze," Cohen said in a news release. "Of all the candidates we considered, Hugh was the best fit. Fit has several meanings, but the most important factors were student-athlete development, football strategy, recruiting and SEC experience."

lol I wonder if Auburn put that 'you-can't-do-nothing-bad' clause in Freezus contract like they did in Pearl's.

It can be neither confirmed nor denied that Freeze asked that his salary to be paid in $1 bills.

It’s easily researched. This is just a small tip of the iceberg- WAY more happened than just this creepy behavior. He’s a dirtbag pervert and the worst kind of example for anyone. Auburn fans can be happy with a good coach - if they think he’s a “changed man” Or “got his life together” or any other BS - they are just being willfully ignorant. if you are a degenerate perverted scumbag for 50+ years, you are what you are.
