The Charlotte 49ers have fired head football coach Will Healy. I think they should go for Skip Holtz, he did well at ECU and pretty well at LaTech.

Liberty is #23 in the country and playing Arkansas this weekend. Kicking ass and taking names. Good for them. We'd trade places with them in a second as far as the strength of their football program. It's strange how people aren't bothered by Notre Dame / BYU / TCU but Liberty is somehow "bad".

It may have something to do with:

-The former president being a complete scumbag
-The AD leaving Baylor after multiple sexual assaults were not reported
-The Head Coach committing several recruiting violations and being suspended for a year

Just off the top of my head why Liberty is disliked more than other institutions.

Liberty has a very recent history of extremeism and hypocrisy. The other institutions do not. It's not complicated.

Have you compared the NIL situations at both programs? That’s going to be the biggest factor moving forward when comparing jobs.

Yeah, not even close to a lateral move. Auburn can win a national championship. Ole Miss cannot. Resources, fanbase, facilities, history aren't even close between Ole Miss and Auburn. If he doesn't take it, the only reason will be that Auburn's big money donors are toxic and he doesn't want to deal with that.

Im not sure the difference in NIL. I know Auburn was way behind put pushed it to 13 million this past year. I would venture to guess Auburn is significantly higher though.

Ole Miss has an endowment approaching 1.5 billion. Not a huge difference there.

Auburn does have roughly 20k more seats.

Lane would have to do some rebuilding at Auburn and still be the little sister to Alabama.
