Southern Miss at 5-5 trying for it's 6th win against a very Good 8-2 USA team.
Southern Miss is going in the right direction can they win at home on Saturday?
This one should be a good one! We already don't like South Al in Baseball and I think we are 0-2 against the Jags. I'm ready to get our 6th win and send y'all back to Mobile sad.

The fighting Wommacks will likely beat the fighting Halls by somewhere in the 7-14 point range. USM is better than last year no doubt, so I should be better than the 31-7 shellacking we took last season from the Jags. Wommack has done a heck of a job, and his team is really good right now.

Senior day. Guys are 1 win away from bowl eligibility. Do they step up? If this was away, I'd definitely chaulk it up as a loss but the fact that it's at home makes it interesting. Can't wait.

Hopefully we bring a good size crowd. I know some Jag fans didn’t like the visitor seating and was looking at other options. I just think sitting with your fans is more fun so that’s where I’ll be.

The Jaguar Marching Band will be there too. I wonder if they have any plans to coordinate with USM’s band? We always coordinate and do something with Troy’s band. The visiting conductor always conducts the national anthem as well. I guess we’ll find out!

Did you see how performed in our last home game vs GaSt? So after that, and you still expect an advantage at home for USM?

Did you see how Georgia State performed in the Game after ours? Many times teams perform well or bad in different circumstances.

We've beaten a top 25 Tulane. Almost beat a top 25 Liberty in quadruple overtime. And almost beat a top 25 Coastal Carolina. As always the team isn't as bad as many USM fans think they are.

I'm looking forward to seeing this game. I have to go with SoMiss though.

USA is better in two important ways; QB and depth on defense. The wide outs aren't too shabby either.

They should win but there's a chance if our offense has a pulse.

They are also better on OL, significantly better. That's the main reason USM's offense is near the bottom of the conference in most every offensive category.

Surprisingly no. We need you guys to beat an SEC team for the sake of the Sun Belt. You can lose every game in conference though.

Well, it’s probably because they want to wrap up the West. Chill dude.

We are still a year away, although we have improved drastically from last year. There always seems to be two or three head scratching plays or play calls each half that has led to our losses lately. Not sure we can overcome these this year.

We have some coaches from the ultra successful Univ of Viet Nam program coming in during the off-season to work with our staff. The results should be transformative.
