Poll (Bowl)
If EMU beats Kent State or CMU .and. MSU beats Indiana:
Will we see EMU and MSU in Detroit?

RE: Poll (Bowl)
If I recall correctly when EMU was in the QL Bowl a few years ago vs. Pitt, wasn't MSU supposed to be their opponent and turned down the bid? That was a better MSU team back then, so perhaps they were pushing for a better bowl...or perhaps they didn't want to face EMU. Or maybe both.
My point being if MSU were in the same position this year, would they again decline the bid?

Poll (Bowl)
The QL bowl is probably considered to be shameful in the eyes of MSU.

Feel like EMU only goes to QL if MSU is the opponent. I'm sure the players would rather go elsewhere, somewhere warm instead of 40 mins down the road.

RE: Poll (Bowl)
I don't think us beating Kent State and/or CMU matter much in terms of going to the QL Bowl. Remember, we were 6-6 in 2019 when we went to the QL Bowl, which even worst case scenario will be our record this year.
I think the only way MSU possibly goes to the QL Bowl is if they beat Indiana and lose to Penn State. If they win both and finish 7-5 my guess is they end up elsewhere. Cid mentioned MSU not wanting the bid in 2019, even that MSU team was 6-6 and avoiding going to Detroit (I say 'avoid' because I agree with 'Nickle that most Big Ten School only want the QL if they have no other option).
I know the folks in charge of the QL Bowl have said they like having a local team just from an attendance standpoint. That is why I have said before if they were to get Michigan State, I don't think they would care too much about having a Michigan/nearby Ohio MAC school. For instance, looking at the MAC schools that could still make a bowl, would a matchup of Michigan State against EMU/CMU/Toledo/BGSU draw more people than a match up with Miami or Buffalo? Maybe, but I just think having MSU would equal a huge crowd. Luckily for them, if they do get MSU, a lot of the bowl eligible teams might be nearby anyway.

RE: Poll (Bowl)
I'm going to bet 2c that it is MSU and Toledo. Kind of a real draw for the QL folks. Will get the attention of folks from Michigan and part of Ohio.
EDIT: ESPN has WI vs. either Toledo or EMU. They can express their opinion but have no vote on this forum.
