This will be a challenging game. I was able to watch (live) the second half of Harvard/Louisiana game and I got the feeling we’d have a tough time with either one.

The arena wasn’t half full. We had the most fans but could use more. So come over; tickets are available at the door. Go Bucs!

Despite the loss, this was ETSU's best game since last year's Naples Invitational.

We played a much better second half. Actually a chance to tie or win the game at the end. Could’ve called a foul on Louisiana at the end but it was close. Missed two critical free throws down to stretch even though we had a great game shoot free throws. Need a second three point shooter. But they really played hard in the come back.

The Bucs showed themselves proud tonight. We had a chance to win against a highly respected team. The team is starting to play well. Thank you Bucs!

Atrocious defense in the first half. Far too many turnovers throughout, on mostly unforced errors. But, lots to like from the players — and the coaches. Wow, Jalen Haynes!

Plenty of room to improve. If this team is willing to work each and every day to get better, they can become very, very good.

That was an entertaining game to watch, and kudos to the 2nd half effort. This team needs Smith to get more confident, and become a key guy for us, but I do like the length of this roster down low.

Thank you for posting that! I got in with a companion for free tonight. 1st half was frustrating, but 2nd half was a great game to watch. I feel/hope that the Bucs will learn/grow more tonight from the close loss than the close win.

It is good to see an etsu team make halftime adjustments two games in a row. Oliver seems to have this team on track for a surprising year!

Also foul shots. 2 untimely misses but ended up 20 for 23. Going forward hope this keeps pace.

Great game. Very impressed with Taylor and Jancek on D. They are really good at jumping screens then getting back to their man.

Strothers made some really nice passes in this game. Just what you want from your point guard. He's forcing his shot sometimes, but after a 1-year layoff, it may take a little while to get in rhythm. Hopefully, he will become a consistent scoring threat.

After watching the Harvard/Louisiana game Friday and feeling we might not beat either one we went “toe to toe” with maybe one of the better teams we’ll face this season.

Unless it was an aberration I feel encouraged about our team.
