A great Rice team pushed us to 5 sets, but below says it all.

Was an incredible game today, had both VB and basketball games on at the same time.

Congrats WKU! Liberty volleyball is not near where you are but we are 19-7 overall and 12-2 and leading the ASUN. Improving this year. Looking forward to trying to compete against WKU next year.

We have a better OOC resume, you’ve been more dominant in Conference.

Last nights match was one of the best Rice-WKU showdowns over the years. Three of the five sets went extra time.

Also we’ve been lucky in 5-setters and won a BUNCH of them this year. This was our first 5-set loss since Oregon months ago.

I hope we get a rematch in the conference tournament and I hope that both teams have NCAA berths clinched already. So really I hope we win that hoped-for rematch and that we get a RE-rematch in the NCAA sweet sixteen!
