Crowd predictions?
My tickets sold in minutes yesterday even with the poor weather forecast so that's encouraging. I was a little nervous that maybe attendance may take a dip after all the air in the balloon popped against UCF.

Game predictions?
Anybody else not ruling out a Navy upset? They've put up some points in some conference games this year. I wouldn't say I'm nervous but needless to say the +18.5 emotional hedge will definitely be in play for me $$$.

We're going to give them a good ol' Chief Bosun bulkhead therapy session.

My bro Subflea would have approved this message.

The weather forecast seems "iffy"--though I'm sure it will change hour to hour. Yesterday I heard no rain until 7 p.m. now which would be great for the fans. Do I recall correctly, this is sold out?

Regarding Navy, an upset is possible but not probable. I think the Bearcats take care of business but it may prove tedious and I think the spread is only achieved if UC jumps on Navy fast for 2-3 touchdowns and UC's D gets some big stops on 3rd and 4th downs.

If the past is any predictor, UC wins this one but by less than a one score margin of victory...

As with every UC game this year, it all depends on how bad our bad half is and how good our good half is.

However, I just don't think Navy has the bodies to hang with us for the whole game at Nippert.

RE: Navy
Weather forecast lends itself to running over passing, which we all know may cause issues with out offense. Defensively, we have struggled mightily against the run all year...I expect this one to be way more difficult that we hope, even with the Navy QB going down with an injury last week.

Rocket arm BB can throw in poor weather as needed to compliment the run...Fick likes balance. Navy with their backup QB? Nope. We can focus on a running attack that we've played before. Maybe this is the type game that Evan gets a few series if the weather really plays a factor. That said, we win this game by a couple of scores. I really like the helmets for this one...

If the rain and winds happen as predicted, UC is going to have to be able to run the ball to win.

Bearcats win 31-17.

I am guessing a decent crowd, but unfortunately not a full house.

Why not? Isn't it a sellout?

Butts in the seat-- weather related. Hope I'm wrong.

Just saw something about them honoring the Humanitarian Bowl team tomorrow. One of my all-time favorite UC teams.

If Kiner does not play tomorrow it has to raise questions.

I know that "Vegas knows what they're doing," but there's no way I'm taking UC and 20.5 points.

Two? Maybe...that seems to be the standard home-field advantage and more consistent with UC's performance this season.

I agree. People who don't remember it poke fun at the name and the blue turf but that was a major breakthrough for UC football to have a postseason after about a half century without a bowl. And that team performed admirably in Boise.

Who could have imagined--its's now a bookend that was the early beginning of a new era in Bearcat football where we expect a bowl every year and have added heavyweights named Orange, Sugar, and Cotton to the success story.

RE: Navy
So Navy's Junior backup QB Xavier Arline's stats for this year...

Passing
0 CMP
4 ATT
1 INT

Rushing
26 ATT
104 YDS
1 TD

His career stats...

Passing
11 CMP
34 ATT
32.4 CMP%
169 YDS
1 TD
1 INT

Rushing
152 ATT
490 YDS
3 TD

I'd put 8/9 in the box and dare this kid to throw it. He's listed as 5 foot 9 and 176 pounds. Means he's 5 foot 8 and 170 pounds.
