Anyone familiar with the tailgating options in Norfolk? I can't find squat for parking passes on the resell market.

Gameday Parking/Tailgate Information
For those fans with a reserved tailgate parking spot, you should have received your hang tag in the mail. If you do not have a reserved parking space, the two parking decks on either side of Chartway Arena, on 43rd and 45th street, are free and open to the public. Please visit ODAF's website for more information.

Neither of those free parking garages allow tailgating. If ODU loses 1 or 2 more games you will see tailgate spots for sale. A chunk of their game attendance is from local corporate front runners who evaporate.

Me and my best friend at home (Portsmouth) have feelers out there, and even in his neighborhood with bigboy ODU donors, we don't have our hands on a pass yet. There is a thread on the ODU board worth following on this subject that will hopefully be more helpful as we get closer to the game. As a guy who grew up down there, I can try to help direct you guys to free stuff but tailgating lots there are limited at best.

I managed to get a pass in Black lot right outside the stadium. Happy to host any JMU fans that want to stop by. We’ll probably get to Norfolk around 10:30
