Here is a song request #1 and #2
Love is the Answer
Can't We All Just Get Along?
Ever notice it's the people that don't get enough of #1 that are horrible at #2?
Well played.

You tweet about the bad situation (possibly self-inflicted) of a very green QB being thrown in there. I said Billy “sucked” on this forum, and he did. That’s okay. It’s what freshman QBs who get their first starts usually do—they suck. The smart ones learn. Let’s hope Cig recruited a smart one. I bet he did.
Even a veteran backup would have sucked in the situation Billy was put in. He found out a day before we did and even then it was a question mark. He knew for sure right before the game. Very few QBs (if any) would succeed when they have that little time to prepare.
And Cignetti even admitted that they had to water down the playbook in the first half.
I absolutely agree about tweeting insults. We shouldn't be yelling them either.
If we're fans of the team, our QB is our QB. Support the guy... even if he sucked.
I see zero issue with being critical on someone's play on a message board like this or general social media site....like sunbelt facebook page, etc....but it crosses the line when someone personally goes to a player's social media account directly. I too am not much into booing a player, but I am not gonna be cheering either when their is literally nothing in their play to cheer about.
I don't have an issue with someone being critical either. But I do think the context plays a role. Many of us didn't know that he had little to no time preparing for this game as a starter.
And the "support" doesn't mean we shouldn't be critical. Just that he's one of our own. He's one of us. No reason to insult him or attack him personally.
Basically I agree with you. :)
That's exactly how I feel. I have never booed one of our players. I don't get that. It's like booing one of your family members. These players are just kids still, very serious, hardworking kids, working their butts off to improve their lives while representing us and our alma mater.
Now, the adults coaching those kids? Yes, they deserve our criticism when it is warranted, as in the past two weeks of bizarre playcalling.
I did boo one of our students this last weekend...but hear me out I had a good reason! She didn't know what the facking QUAD was!!!! Unacceptable. Transfer to some crap school like VT immediately if you don't know what the Quad is.

Ha I completely forgot about that terrible showing, likely due to our offense looking worse
