If UCF wins this game, then UH and ECU are back in play for the conference championship. ECU needs more help, though.

Yeah but all we would need is for Tulane to beat UCF at home. I think that is something you guys can handle. It would be best for the long term trajectory of the AAC for Tulane & ECU to siphon & usurp as much power from the 3 defectors as possible in their last year with the league and then carry that forward. If Tulane & ECU could somehow meet again in the championship this year that would be a huge win for the AAC. I think UCF bounces back vs UC and that will set everything up.

We've seen ECU play single games well, but I haven't seen them chain good games together yet. @BYU and then @Cincy is a HUGE ask for anyone in the conference. I know BYU is down, but they still have dudes out west - and Provo isn't a fun place to play.

A lot of Bearcats must’ve bought tickets.

I want to see UCF win as it gives ECU a shot to control it’s own destiny but frankly, I don’t see it happening. Vegas currently had them favored by 2 but I would put my money on the Bearcats.

It’s painful to say that for many reasons. I hope that I’m wrong.

Pulling for the Knights big-time. At home, eliminating turnovers, and getting the momentum will be huge for them. The talent is there. Not necessarily sold on Malzhan, but the defense has to dictate the game to the Cats.

It's UCF Homecoming Game...so single game tix sales are generally strong for that one.

While UC is about as hard of a homecoming opponent as one can get...UCF didn't have much choice since they have just 1 home game in Nov (vs Navy on Nov 12th) and their other Oct game was a Thursday night affair.

We haven't played a clean, complete game all year. This would be a great time to do it on the road in a hostile environment.

Cincy has a legit defense that will buy time for them to get into the game. This will be decided in the final three minutes.

We have talent, no doubt. New QB, new OC and a few new position coaches and we have yet to put together more than 2 really good quarters a game. 7 games in its like they still don't know who they are yet.

Good first world problems but it's been frustrating to watch.

Not that bold. Ecu hasn't won at Nippert in over 2 decades.

Damn shame that ECU appears to be turning a corner just as we exit stage left to the B12. I always thought ECU could grow their program and have consistent success in the AAC. Looks like they may finally have the right coach in place. Anywho, I'll save the smack talk until our game draweth nigh.
