Just a terrible ending to this game. But, this is why the Hate Bowl is the best rivalry in C-USA. I have a feeling this is only Round 1. These two might be meeting again in the title game.

Shoutout to the UNT fans sitting by me trash talking the 4th down they didn’t get a stop on. They were the first in the section to exit a few minutes later.

Really not sure what to even think of what I saw. What a shitshow the first half was.

-Frank Harris is amazing, he's always had it, tremendous player.
-Hated seeing the UTSA DB lower his helmet and take that hit early, glad he's okay
-Truly amazing how well UTSA OL established the run given the plethora of injuries
-Could be wrong, but I see 15 seniors starters for UTSA, not sure how many have another year of eligibility, UNT started just two today.
-Impressive environment, I miss when we had a team fans cared about
-Cephus, Clark etc. are all studs
-Unbelievable one handed catch by a 275 lb. TE, what else can I say?
-No moral victory here, I think most are still firmly on the Fire Seth Littrell train. Nothing impressive about what transpired today, an epic meltdown.

We won't be meeting again in December. UTSA was banged up and lost even more players as the game wore on, but still kicked our ass at the end. WKU should beat us next week. Litttrell couldn' beat your backups today. UNT is terrible because our coaching it terrible. Until Littrell is gone, we can't seriously consider contending for anything.

What a game.

This game always ends in heartache for one side, and this year was out turn. The series is all knotted up again. But, Hate Bowl XI will take place in the AAC next season. Hopefully, UNT will have a better coach for next season.

I will also add that I think the annual Hate Bowl has become one of the best G5 rivalry games.

I was confused by that tweet because aren't the home and away locker rooms on opposite sides of the dome? Is there maybe a long hallway that spans the length of the field that connects the locker rooms? I've never been in the dungeons of the dome, so I'm asking out of complete ignorance. Definitely a first in the 12 years we've now had a football program.

Best I could find about the locker rooms is this pdf link. You would have to scroll to page 76 and magnify it to see, but the locker rooms are apparently across the hall from each other even though the teams come out of opposite ends of the dome. Interesting.

I thought the same. When the Spurs played in the dome I remember hearing the locker rooms were on opposing sides of the dome.

Perez didn’t really have a follow up on a tweet he knows will stir the pot, which is sus.

I was also confused as to whether it was a scuffle between UNT staff themselves or if it involved anyone from UTSA as well. This tweet makes it seem like it involved UTSA players.

Too bad UNT didn't have the same level of motivation over the last few minutes of the game. UNT only has UNT to blame for this loss. We must get a real coach. The fans are done with Littrell. No one is buying his snake oil anymore.

As long as we beat WKU next week it should happen! I’ll def be in SA for the rematch.
