****Week 7: WKU @ Middle Tennessee, 2:30PM, Saturday, October 15, 2022, ESPN+****
MT Currently 8 point dog
The Raiders Homecoming, MT/Stockstill is 1-6 in last seven games.
Kick off same time as utk's kickoff in knoxville,
WKU fans will likely outnumber the remnant of Raiders fans who haven't sworn off the S***Show in Murfreesboro.
MT fans hate the President, AD, and head coach more than wku.

WKU needs it to be a blow out. Not fairing well in closely contested games. MTSU is Jekyll and Hyde this year. Some games you guys look absolutely awful, other games you look like a contender. I am personally rooting for the bad MTSU team to show up.

All this adds up to Big Red disappointment on Saturday.

Epic sandbag there. This programs is a complete **** show dumpster fire. You've won like six of seven and they haven't even really been close. I thinking in the ballpark of 52-22. Will be over at halftime.
That said, I very much look forward to settling into my chair during this time slot to take in the UT/Bama game. I won't be watching this four hour train wreck. Nor will many other people in the mid-state either. Much less show up in person. Attendance: 1,400 announced as 11,500.

I agree. MTSU has lost to James Madison, UTSA and UAB. All three pretty solid teams and a win over Miami. The Toppers have lost to Indiana, UTSA and Troy. Two good teams and very average Indiana team. Reed has a slight advantage over Cunningham based on numbers so far. I just don't see a lot of variance between these two teams other than point margins in their losses. I think WKU wins this one but a close loss would not be a shocker.

MUTS will come out like the New England Patriots under Brady and break the 35-35- tie record between the two ends of the 100 Miles of Hate and win easily. WKU will play like a DII program beginning its transition to D1.
In all seriousness, records and previous performance mean nothing. MUTS are playing for pride and WKU is playing to learn how to finish a game. Pride wins.
Plus, Stockstill needs to keep his job and beating WKU seals the deal.

Stockstill is under contract through the EOY 2028, when he turns 71. There's not a guarantee that will be the end of it.
He has no fear for his job, unfortunately. He's coach for life just like it seems the AD and the President are there forever.
To quote Clarence Darrow, "I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure."
Each day I awake I look for the obituaries, its the only way it seems MT fans and MT football program is going to get some relief from the cronyism, incompetence, and mediocrity. I hate having that feeling.

WKU could be ranked a lot higher if not for 3 close losses, any one of which they could have won at Indiana, at UTSA, and vs. Troy. MTSU had the phenomenal win vs. Miami but they have been really bad in some of their losses (JMU, UAB). I expect WKU to win.

I started by thinking we get blown out. Now im starting to think we will win this, get our hopes up and then get destroyed by UTEP. It’s the Middle way.

Just listened to George Plaster Podcast. Stockstill sounds like "Dead Man Walkin'" during the interview! The 100 Miles of Hate Rivalry has been a great tradition for both universities but in the last 5+ years; Middle Tennessee has not kept up our end of the bargain. It is time for this coaching staff to WAKE THE F#$@ UP!!!!! Or get the H@#$ out of the Boro! Let's Go BLUE!!!

WKU takes the all time series lead 36-35-1 with the 35-17 win at MTSU today.

And this win against MTSU was WKU's 600th all-time win.

For how poorly WKU played today I was surprised how much MT was even worse. MT fans must be fed up with things

Congrats Western.
MT needs to lose the rest of it's games this year.
I will be rooting for that to happen, unfortunately.
Our dumbarse leaders don't realize if they would change our coach, that the donations would roll in. It would more than cover the cost of Stockstill's payout.
Take the "Build Blue" money and get rid of the staff.

It’s a bad situation to be in. We’ve been there done that.

Have you? There have been six different men(not counting interims) on your sideline in the time Stock has been in Murfreesboro, three of which were hired away, Elson and Sanford's tenured combined is just over half as long as Stocksisyphus has been slowly killing our program.

How so? WKU has won 7 out of last 8, not like today was a huge surprise? Clearly your crowd of 3k didn’t care much about game. Don’t worry though, WKU got their own version of Stickstill, Helton is clueless..
