Rourke is gonna shred our defense and although Ohio's defense isnt good, its not going to matter as our offense is just so bad.

Fordham did put up 500 yards passing and 52 points on OU. But looking at their team Fordham probably has a better offense than WMU.

Fordham absolutely has a better offense than WMU. They're averaging 50 pts per game.

But yes Fordham has the #1 ranked offense in FCS right now so I think it's a safe bet.

I really can never tell if you're serious.

I agree that this team comes out and plays a complete game and the Fire Lester chants lower to a whisper for a few days. Lester is always good for a rebound game like this but we can’t build positive seasons out of rebound games.

Wouldn't be surprised if we have a rebound game, but we are not good this year. Ohio Not Ohio St wins comfortably.

Typically, I wouldn't be too surprised if we pulled off the win, in erratic fashion. Homecoming, and we tend to do well against the MAC East.

But the firsthand accounts I've read on here of players looking listless on the sidelines and lacking fire... maybe that's just fans' misinterpretation. But if true, this adds an extra layer of concern on top of simply being inexperienced or whatnot.

If EMU had an edge talent-wise and won a hard fought battle, fine. But being down 35-7 at halftime is something I'd expect if we played at scUM. Not an opponent who lost decisively to Buffalo and squeaked by UMass at home (although I know it was a different QB).

I'd bet $100 that the game does not end up like that (38+ for us; under 17 for them).

I think we CAN win this game. It's a pivotal game, they all know that, it's at home -- and Ohio can give up pts pretty easily (52 to Fordham, 34 to Akron, 38 to FAU, 31 to KSU, over 40 to Penn St & Iowa State).

Our O can score when a team's D isn't tough. But the problem is, we also can fail at scoring when their D isn't at all tough, either (see New Hamp game).

I think Lester will have our team prepared. I picked Ohio for the game because that's my fears talking. Which certainly certainly can be true (otherwise I wouldn't have fears).

We could have a breakout game, but I don't think our mentality's quite there yet to do that sort of thing.

Was going to say the same thing. Lester tends to rebound after a loss and win. I don't expect it to be pretty but if we win, I'll take it.
