Pretty sure there was always a chance of long term effects from the flu as well--everything from organ damage to lung dysfunction. From what I understand---even for most who do get long Covid---they largely return to normal within a year. Life comes with the risk of illness or death---always has. You can hide in a corner and cover yourself with bubble wrap---or you can live your life in a reasonable and intelligent manner accepting that there is a level of risk in almost anything you do from driving to the store to eating a meal prepared by someone else.

Break out the masks and the mail in ballots !!!!

I'm pretty sure I suffer from it. My energy levels since my last bout with it are still low. I get winded too easy and I'm tired from the time I get up until I go to bed. I walk around in a fugue state a lot. I feel like I've aged 10 years since 12/26/19.

That's how I felt for 10 months after I got the vax to a T. Then I got the virus and it all of it went away 2 weeks later. Go figure.

I am taking (fairly low-grade) chemo for prostate cancer. One every three weeks, usually wasted for about 2-4 days after, then good for 2-1/2 weeks until the next. In late July, I had covid on top of one of my injections, didn't realize it until it lingered after the 4th day. Had to stop the chemo for a month, and just now getting back to where I was before the covid.

I am willing to bet you can find plenty of "do-gooders" who will pick up your ballots for your convenience and drop them off at a drop box as well.
