CUSA Rankings - Week 4

RE: CUSA Rankings - Week 4
UTSA's injury list is now up to 21 players following the Texas game, and seven of those are on our offensive line. Word yesterday is that two of those O-linemen will now miss the rest of the season. We're so depleted there right now that we're even moving defensive linemen to the offense now.

Also, six guys needed MRI's, and I'm not sure whether we've gotten all the results back yet. Also curious how much longer our other RB (Trelon Smith) will be out. He unexpectedly missed the game against Texas.

Not sure these early-season gauntlets serve us well in the future.

They NEED to get up early on Texas Southern, just wanna clear the bench for the second half.

This kind of stuff always gets lost in the shuffle so to speak. Unless it is a big time skill player injuries are an after thought. You have to consider how hard this hits a team. Most people just see UTSA as a really good team and if they lose a game they are not supposed to you think "well I guess they are not that good this year". Group of 5 teams just don't usually have the depth the P5 teams usually do. Hope everyone gets back soon as they safely can.
