Congratulations Syracuse
Hopefully that helps put an end to the Brohm to Louisville BS. As much as I hate to say it, I would rather keep the guy we have.

Purdue lost it is composure gave up 60 yards in penalties the last minute of the game and Syracuse was able to capitalize on the penalty yards and score a TD with 8 seconds on the game clock. Syracuse may be a top 25 team tomorrow

I don't think you watched the end of the game. It is 7 seconds not 8 seconds. It is the longest 7 seconds because Syracuse called time out twice and Purdue had multiple penalty so the clock stopped at 7 seconds. It displayed 7 seconds remaining on the screen in the whole time.

Nicely done Orange! Now let’s see more frequent, similar season starts (well, more frequent than every ~4 years or so).

I thought Purdue was supposed to be one of the "smart" football teams. A bunch of engineers and eggs heads so to speak. I have not seen a so called smart P-5 come apart mentally like that, perhaps ever.

Not sure (but will happily agree). App State's making it's case <- an increasing quality win for UNC.

Pitt played a redshirt freshman QB and still won easily. Yarnell was 9-12 with 179 and a TD. No picks. Hopefully we can get healthy next week and during the bye before we welcome GT.

So, down 14, Cristobal runs three run plays and sends the field goal unit out there

They wanted Cristobal, they got Cristobal’s super-conservative cavemanball

The Pack looked solid though very conservative tonight. Beating TT is a nice P5 victory. If they open up the offense just a little bit who knows what happens at Clemson.

RE: Week 3 Open Thread
Overall a pretty good start to the season for the ACC compared to recent years. No huge signature wins but most teams have avoided very bad losses and the teams are beating a lot of mid level teams from the other power 5 conferences.
