Nice drive. bad decisions by Creighton putting in Jackson instead of Evans in the red zone. Also I don't understand a screen to Evans in the red zone.

Evans is putting a hurt on the ASU defenders. Him getting about 5 yards on every 1st down run is huge.

I'm watching it every play! We're running the ball with confidence! Defense is getting off the field! Unfortunately, Powell got hurt! Shoulder on a sack! Up 24-14 almost HT! Best half of football I've seen in the Creighton Era! Defense looked like A D1 defense, RB looked outstanding, especially #22, and I've been critical of him, and let's finish!

1st half was exceptional.

-Sorry for Powell. I'm not a big fan of his but I never want to see a guy hurt. The positive is that Smith looks dual threat. Very young and is raw but great experience

2 Our D looks great. particularly against thr rum

3 Evans is a BEAST running back

He had his pads off and he was walking around behind the bench, but they didn't have any wrappings on his shoulder. Hopefully it's just a minor injury. Not enough depth at that position.
