Still has never happened in their conference football history

The loss to Tennessee isn't inexplicable. They are a good team. If we lose to Western Michigan next week, that would be inexplicable. We lost in OT after having lost our starting QB, our center and another offensive lineman.

Pitt played a great game, too bad those injuries happened. Still gave a good showing.

Maybe one day you will beat teams that matter in a non conference game. Maybe one day

I don't understand why there were 13K less fans in the stadium for Tennessee than for West Va. There was a lot of Orange in the stadium, but the game was against a ranked SEC school that is tied to Pitt with a long umbilical cord. It was said by some that WVa brought 30K last week to make the 72K record - are there only 40K Pitt fans willing to go to a football game? I get the structural collapse of football attendance in some places and I get the failure to show up for a turd. That game should have had at least 68K.

Maybe the fans knew that Pitt always loses the week after a big win?

Yes, but sometimes we never make it out of the tailgate in the parking lot, or never go back in after we return to the tailgate during halftime.

Well, Collins got his first win of the season. It wasn't pretty, and for a while a Scott-Frost-ing was plausible.

The crowd was easily the smallest I've ever seen at BDS for any game. The first WCU TD was on a blown coverage. The crowd became discontent right off the bat. The second WCU TD was also a TD on blown coverage. The boo birds were out loudly in force early 1st Quarter. They righted the ship after that, but the mob was assembling. I think Collins *must* win one game out of Ole Miss / Pitt / @UCF to have a prayer. They're pretty much openly saying as much among the fat cats: https://www.ajc.com/sports/georgia-tech/...DXJB7NK24/

I know you want a new coach, but I hope you guys win at Disney Tech.

Ever since the Central Florida Golden Knights joined the AAC as our conference mate for one season, they decided to always show their ass to us. They are a good football program, but the loud part of their fanbase could learn some class.
