I don’t know if that’s given.

People said the same thing about Denny Crum when he left John Wooden’s staff to take the Head Coaching job here at UofL. It was given when Wooden retired that Coach Crum would return to Westwood.

After the ‘75 season, Wooden retired and UCLA called Denny. He said thanks but no thanks to UCLA and stayed at UofL until 2001.

Coaches often tell recruits you can go to Alabama and be the next big thing, or you can come here and be the first big thing. Maybe Dabo would rather be the first big thing at Clemson instead of the next big thing in Tuscaloosa.

In a few years we’ll know which way he goes…

Alabama is only Alabama because of Saban. Alabama at times used to be Mike Dubose and Dennis Franchioni.

Dabo's done well to date... But not as good since Watson and Laurence have left. DJ Ukalaylee doesn't seem to be that level.

Fickell has done well in the wake of every other coach that left the program after picking up a scent of success. Although they’re not looking the same without whatever that quarterback’s name was and Juicy Juice.
