Would be a little surprised if we can get more than 3k fans there, but this game will have a great environment and might make the cut for an ESPN mainstream channel. Hope we show well and make it a close, competitive game.

There's actually a good number of seats left for the Troy game. So either we excite the App St fanbase more, or we do have a good number of JMU fans going to this game. Maybe some of both.

The seating map on their site says sections 208 and 209 are visitors which is ~550 seats

Hope it was more than that. We'll easily sell out next year at BFS for this game also. Maybe we can find a way to add temp seats somewhere?

It will be the 30,000 seat stadium. The bleachers in the end zone were installed for the Carolina game only.

I know the game will sell out at JMU, but it was good to know that the interest is there on App's part as well.
Shows that they care about this game as much as we do. The Sun Belt made the right decision putting us together in the conference.
Also shows what happens when conferences actually bring in schools that fans care about. It's good for both fan bases and good for college football in general.

App sold out season tickets because they hosted UNC-Cheat. I think this went a long way in getting them close to sell outs for other games on the schedule.

I held off buying a ticket to wait and see kick off time and weather, since it is a bit of a hike from my place to Boone and I would be going up and back the same day.

With secondary ticket markets. I trust that I can always get one ticket if the weather and kick time cooperate for me.

As far as weather goes, any forecast more than 15 minutes out is considered long range. The game is likely a 3:30 kick.

Likely true, but the supply is limited, and prices seem to be trending upward. Perhaps that changes last minute similar to Frisco, but hard to say.

There were still some seats available at cost a few weeks ago (lots of 2s and 3s), but they dried up in a matter of days. Price gouging has ensued, scalping at the game might be best option if you can risk it.
