A&M is in a completely different league of those teams

Honestly A&M didn't look *that great* vs SHSU and you guys should be miles better than them. I could see App State staying close to the spread and pushing A&M if they can get their defense to play a little better this week.

Are they? I mean, Tennessee and Penn State were both top ten when we played them.

That UTK team wasn’t a top 25 team that year. Penn St was legit, but we haven’t played a team the caliber of A&M since UGA. The line plan is just different there.

Pretty emotional game for APP last week. Not sure they have another one in the tank to keep it close with A&M. It's still early season so who knows.

Scary with their defense that could shut us down and their offense having some issues against SH. I would stay away from it myself.

Aggies had a 3 hour weather delay in that game, and still shut out SHSU 31-zip, but “they didn’t look that great?” Riiiight. Aggie QB was also playing his first game in almost a year after breaking his ankle last year against Colorado. I can see App staying close in the first half, but the likely hood is Aggies pull away in the second half . . .

It will be like all the p5 games App State plays.

App State will keep it close but fall short of the win.

Then we will see A&M fans freak out and say we are screwed in the SEC now. Then they will start saying Fisher is in in the hot seat, or should be fired. They will say their defense or offense is horrible.

And then A&M will go 11 and 1…and at the end of the season will reflect back and say “that App State team was very good!”

Happens all the freaking time.
