After last week's loss to FAU, Charlotte received a stimulus check in the form of W&M only to commit fraud with it.

Let's not act like Charlotte is the only program to go thru a bad period of football. They are in a great location for recruiting and whether its this coach or another one, they will be fine. Maybe not this year but they will be fine.

We all have gone through bad periods is your take on Charlottes program? That is all the have had in the HISTORY of their program.

1. In their entire program history they have only had ONE winning season and that was 7-6
2. They have never won a bowl game
3. They have never had a home game with over 20k fans

It is literally about as bad as it could be.

And now this is an AAC expansion school.

While I agree that UNCC looks like the worse team in college football. Hell I thought they did last week and from the go thought they made the wrong hire. But lets take a look at your # and change the team.

ODU a school that actually had a winning and winning at a high level FCS program when they moved up. UNCC had no team

1. In their entire program history they have only had ONE winning season
2. they won one bowl game
3. They have never had a home game with over 23k fans

Before UAB was killed you could put their overall numbers into a 1,2,3....hiring the right coach made a difference in a short period of time

over 20 years of football
2 winning seasons
never won a bowl game
while they had a few games over 20k probably not many and played in a huge stadium

Yes, they are. All of the above is true. And they are going to the AAC, and Appalachian State is not. All of that reeking crapulence, and they were still chosen ahead of any member of the lowly Sun Belt. Infesting other conferences' discussion boards with your desperate attempts at validation cannot change that.

Jealousy is not pretty.

In G5 football, coaching (for better or worse) can change things in a hurry. Teams in CUSA, AAC, and Sun Belt are almost all in recruiting areas where they can get enough talent to win IF they have the right coach.

clt says it is tough to win any game with your QB3 playing.

No excuse for our defense, simply awful.

AAC should have taken ODU and not Charlotte. Way more upside in the Hampton Roads team versus a football startup.
