This place is good, cheap, and fast. It isn't fancy in the least but that is not why folks love this place in Lynchburg.

Has anyone been to Bodo's (Barracks Road) in c'ville

I love that place.

A Bodo's in the right place in Rock Town would kill it

No matter how good they may be, no other bagel shops can encroach on Mr. J's territory.

My wife is from Charlottesville and I always go back and forth with her family as to which is better. Both are pretty good and I think they’ve probably been respectful not to expand into either of the other’s city.

No thanks....already got 2 Mr J's in Harrisonburg and it is better than Bodo's

Went to the T-Room as a guest of some freshman year dorm buddies that were from Lynchburg back in 2002, maybe it was 2003 by the time I made it to visit. Cheesy western in a bowl I believe was my order.

Tried this out x2 for Lunch on Friday and Breakfast on Saturday. It’s my new go-to.

Also, Bodos is WAY better than J’s and it’s not even close. Hate to say it

Have eaten there twice hotdogs are good, cheeseburger excelent, best fries I've had in a long time. I miss Jess's, but think they can fill the niche for my chilli dog cravings now. super fast service too!

Roanoke has the original "Texas" establishment, the Texas Tavern, founded downtown in 1930. Then the same guy opened the Lynchburg location, the Texas Inn, in 1935 and sold it later. I believe the business is now owned by two JMU graduates.

The same family, the Bullingtons, still own the Texas Tavern in Roanoke.
