I saw on E$BN ie E$PN that UAB's chances to win the NC are 1000-1 along w/ Liberty, UTSA & a couple of others of our peers. There's a chance after all so lay your money down now while the odds are pretty good.

Those should be odds for making their four team invitational not the NC........ LOL

Seriously. At 1000-1, that's a horrendous value still. Even if we somehow run the table, I'd say we have well under 50% chance of making the playoff.

I agree with your first sentence 100%. I know some people that got Auburn at 1000-1 in 2010. Should be 10000-1 with the current state of CFB

...unless we whup an otherwise undefeated LSU team (i.e., they have wins over Bammer and A&M - not sure who else they play), there's not much of a chance... we MAY be able to sneak into the 'access spot', if that's still a thing... we need the conference to look decent OOC, and so far, so good...

I wonder how much action Vegas gets on schools with such high odds.

I’m a UAB Homer and I wouldn’t drop money on that with the current state of the playoff selections.

I can remember my days working at the Bham Race Course, many's the longshot bettor saying I'll be the only one w/ a ticket if it wins.

We could go undefeated and we still would not be included in the NCAA Football Invitational.
