Here’s hoping. But I confess some skepticism on that score.

I think back to Wayne Williams, who probably murdered at least 30 people in the Atlanta area, of whom about 20 were in the 8-14 age range. Many of those victims had relatives on the inside. At least one of those relatives openly expressed a desire to take vengeance on Williams. But after 40 years on the inside… nothing.

It may be that I just keep up with this stuff too much for my own good. But I remember his death being covered very extensively in the media. I disagree that he was “forgotten” when he was killed.
