Temple ticket pricing question
I was looking at ECU/Temple tickets (via the ECU ticket office): only $24. By comparison, USF tickets are $40. I was just curious about your pricing tiers. Do the Eagles get any cut of ticket sales or parking? Besides any club seating/high donor seats, are all general admission prices the same? Just wondering what life in an NFL stadium is all about for you guys. Thanks.

As far as I know, Temple only collects ticket revenue. That’s it. Everything else goes to the Eagles. Beyond that, Temple pays the Eagles at least $1m per year to lease the stadium, which seems egregious. As far as I know, the Steelers let Pitt play at Heinz Field for free.

I think the city of Philadelphia collects the parking revenue. They own the ground upon which the stadium and parking lots sits. Temple gets 10% of the gross on concession sales, and I think the rent is now $3 million per year. Pitt certainly has a better deal at Heinz. Ticket revenue all goes to Temple.

Well... it is Cincinnati...07-coffee3

You have to give them a bit of leeway as they are in Ohio.

Good college teams with their own facilities don't have to deal with the corrupt political landscape that Temple has to deal with.

Wait, Temple charges admission for their games?

I thought they paid homeless people to show up.
