Fun facts: Stott's dad was one of RR's coaches at Cornell. Stott's cousin, Bryson, plays for the Phillies.

That #9 QB might Va available next year. The next great Manning (nephew to north Peyton & Eli) Class of 2023 committed to Texas. Sone say he may gebtgrnbedt if rtf Mannings.
I watched the #2 Klubnik kid play at the end of Clemson's first game. He is an absolute beast already, and will serve them well for the next few years.
BTW are you having a stroke?

Klubnik has to start at some point this year.
Ewers looked great vs. Bama, maybe he should come here and dominate.

RE: Starting QB Battle
Saw a comment yesterday regarding Clark that said he was dealing with plantar fasciitis in his foot?
Anyone know something of this?

Starting QB Battle
Now that the season's over, do we get any info on Clark? Did he lose the battle all year, did he suck in practice, was he still injured? Just want to know why he rode the bench

Started the season injured, injured late in the season. Didn’t play well enough in practice in between. But this was his first season playing football in a long time. I wouldn’t write him off yet.

Good to know, thanks. There is still a decent chance he is our starter next year, the way the portal and recruiting is going. If we can unlock his talent, I am good with that

RE: Starting QB Battle
Didn’t want to start a new thread. It’s worth pointing out that one year ago today many of us were in Conway SC getting ready to cheer on our Monarchs in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. What a fun day, even with the loss. Here’s hoping we can finally get back to our winning ways next season and all gather for a bowl game again. Whoever winds up being our qb will play a huge role in that.

RE: Starting QB Battle
New recruit might have something to say.
Roche was the Baltimore Sun All-Metro Player of the Year after moving from running back to quarterback as a junior. He guided the Poets to an unbeaten season and the state championship, accounting for 3,440 all-purpose yards and 40 touchdowns. As a senior, Roche missed two games with an injury, but saw time at quarterback and running back and piled up 2,586 total yards and 31 touchdowns. He rushed for 1,591 yards and 22 TDs as Dunbar won its second straight state title.

I doubt he will be in contention for QB. He's too short.

Starting QB Battle
We can do the superback like USM!
(Let's not, but put in the bag of tricks might be fun.)
