The deck is pretty stacked going against an FBS sized roster but I think if we’re a CAA contender and a playoff caliber team we should keep it interesting for a full 60 minutes. A win is certainly not out of the question.

Sounds good. The problem is the full 60 minutes. We’ve had many close calls against FBS the last 30 years but one that still leaves a bad taste was Central Florida. We were down 10-0 at HT and then scored 4 straight TDS in Q3, up 27-10. I thought we had bagged it. Lost in the end 39-33.

UNC, UMD and WVU stand out to me. I attended all 3 and we were up late in the games only to lose. 4Q punishes teams with smaller rosters.

I’m stoked to drive 6 hrs for what promises to be a fun tailgate and great game.

On the Central Florida game, I don’t know for sure though have we ever had a 17 point lead over an FBS opponent since moving 1AA in 1982? Tough to see that one wilt.

And since it is being broadcast on ESPN3, I do not think that you have to subscribe to ESPN+ in order to watch the game on your computer or mobile device.

Charlotte starting QB will not play this week. Or, so says twitter.

New starting QB James Foster is a dual threat former 4* transfer from Texas A&M. Very limited in pt at Charlotte. He's a capable passer, but I'd expect with his limited starters reps that there are a lot of run option plays.

I'm seeing Tribe +6.5, which would be tempting if I were a betting man.
