To you Traditionalists...
I'm sorry, Men...

I love the Green and White. I love the Black. But if you youtube the 2009 Little Caesar's Pizza bowl and you don't LOVE that uniform combination (or all whites with the green bonnet). I don't know what to tell ya. That look is SOLID!

I think we could add:

Black helmet (already coming)
Green Helmet.

And be done. Just my thought of the night as I am watching Marshall football on YouTube tonight.

I wish we'd have kept Rick Minter as our coach at that time.

I don't mind the green helmets, but I want more sparkle in there. If we're going to wear them I want them to look like Emeralds...we are the Jewel City. Glitter base in Kelly Green.

Agreed. I hate matte finish helmets, they look like primer. But if we go with green helmets we should use the one in my profile pic.

Me too. Minter would've been a helluva coach. He outcoached Frank Solich (IMHO) to win the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl in 2009.

And absolutely on the sparkle on the helmets.

Minter needed no learning curve to be a head coach. He had multiple winning seasons in a harder CUSA. He was part of the reason Cincy got to move to the Big East. We could have skipped the Doc years altogether. I was there at his presser when Pruett beat him in 2000 in the MCB. He was all class after a hard fought game. Dude was a coach.

^This is very true. He was tailor-made. I think we might've had a different story had he been hire in lieu of Doc. But Doc didn't do horribly either, but we just couldn't get to the top and stay there and lose dumb games that we had no business losing.
