Rep
A lot of people have high reps from their team boards. Don't abuse the rep system, but add rep to people that you see come here and post while it's fledgling. This is just to incentivize them to stay active and give them some cachet when they post on the main SBC board. We need 20-30 active people here to keep it going and that's one way to get them involved.

Also for those that don't know, your ability to give rep increases with the number of posts and your board ranking. Staying active gives you more power, here.

I believe so. I didn't actually notice it until just now.

It's the + on the bottom left on mine. Just hover over it and it'll say "Give rep to user". But mine might be different as a mod.

After overlooking it twice I finally came out of my daze and found it.

RE: Rep
Just keep posting and if someone starts a good topic and it has good responses don't forget to click the little button. There are failsafes to stop abuse. The site will let you know when you are being frivolous.

Seems trivial but people look at that when a rumor or other information is brought up. If you have a couple hundred rep it signifies you are serious and you know what you're talking about. Otherwise you're a noob, troll, or just untrustworthy to outside fans. They won't know you from other boards like we do.

And you can give rep on the main SBC board to good threads, too. A lot of times they will bounce some back when you do. I try to always rerep any that I receive as a courtesy.

If this board becomes popular during the athletic season, you guys will be the veterans and established. You can help build up the new noobs.

Hello guys! I almost gave up on my handle and even requested a new name (gaBlade) but I finally made it!

Living in Georgia now enjoying retirement so our longest drive in the East would be for a home game. ;/ I guess that makes Barbie and I road warriors. So far, we plan on attending Troy, GSU and CCU.

Nice seeing some familiar nicks on the board. Go Herd!

No. Left Tennessee back in 2020 and we now live on Clarks Hill Lake just north of Augusta. Loved the CSRA when I worked at SRS back in the 80's. Feels like I'm home again! I've been a guest lurker on the boards off and on but decided to give it a go again. Don't know if we'll make it up for a game but I'll be sure to let you know if we do. Hope you are well.

I loved the Southern conference. Nice to get a couple teams back on the schedule!

I'm hoping it does, we've been busy resurrecting this forum since last spring.
