Pretty cool to see! I always remember that pick Jimmie had late in the 4th against Iowa to put the Huskies in field goal position for the winning kick.

Jimmie Freakin' Ward

I remember saying when he was at NIU how bad a felt for him 'cuz I know he can play in the NFL, but he is gonna be looked at as being and inch or two too short and he will be overlooked. I was literally bummed for him. I thought maybe some smart organization will use a late round pick on him-- or certainly someone may give him a shot as a free agent. Then- wow! he's drafted in the first! Then, wow again he sticks!
Not bad for a kid too small for major college football, much less the NFL!

Has he been back to campus for a game since going pro? Wonder how often our NFL/CFL/USFL guys come back around to hang around the program?

Sutton has free time since the raiders let him go. Would be awesome if he came back and helped out the D end coach
