This guy looks like a winner! He may struggle at first as this is his first CFB HC job but that should be short-term. Solid hires for coordinators. The OC is very young and not really tested at the college level, but is considered one of the great up-and-coming offensive coordinators. And the DC brings in solid HC experience.
Tech has a good record with H.S coaches starting with Art Briles. Not only head coach at Stephenville H.S. but a former Red Raider and Cougar. And Art liked to collect championship trophies.

Time will tell, they Guy has a good record as a High School coach. No reason to think he can't be good as college coach. Time will tell, may be a slight learning curve.
