That's what happens when you have to run the Super Back Offense. Despite their lack of a QB and depth at several other positions, they still beat Louisiana Tech and FIU. So that's interesting.

I would move up UTEP, RICE, and Tech. I'm fine with being picked second. UTSA is the champ until someone knocks them off. I see a hard fought rematch for the Championship game.

I do think on any given day anyone can beat anyone with the exception of FIU. They could be in for a long year but who knows? I wish them the best.

Gonna be interesting to compare the final rankings at the end of the season with the pre-season poll. Really don't think 5 of the top 6 teams will be 5 of the teams leaving CUSA next year. It's a Big Wait and See.

Charlotte is underrated. One of the best offenses in the conference and a rebuilt defense. We are going to shock some people.

What do you mean by rebuilt? Who did Charlotte bring in and why will it help? Did the scheme change? Was it a scheme problem or personnel problem? Is it an overall approach on game day problem similar to what Marshall faced when they lost to ECU and App last year?

I ask because I bet on games and I'll take an intel on dogs before the season starts that I can. The best time to bet is the first four weeks of the year.

Did they do a 14-team version of this first, then have to re-do it with 11?
