Tonight the North Texas alumni team, Bleed Green, won their 2nd straight game to advance to the TBT equivalent of the Sweet Sixteen. It is Bleed Green's first TBT appearance and were given a 7 seed in the Wichita region.

It's been fun to see these guys on the court again.

Bleed Green will be playing #1 seed Aftershock (Wichita State's alumni team) tomorrow night on the Shockers home court. It's going to be a tough contest for the Green.

It's a 64 team basketball tournament made up of non-NBA pro players. About half of the teams are alumni teams. Has a 1 million dollar winner-take-all prize.

This is UNTs first team to enter but Marshall has had a team in there for several tourneys.

The game between Bleed Green and Aftershock will air live tomorrow night on ESPN2 at 8pn central time.

Justin Johnson wearing green is indeed weird. WKU could have a good team of former players.

NMSU had a TBT team this year for the first time (the Panamaniac's). Lost a close game to the UNM team in Albuquerque on UNM's home court. We had our best player go down with an injury 2 minutes into the game and another starter got injured 5 minutes later. Played the game with essentially a 6 man rotation.

Bleed Green has a couple of players from Midwestern State, which was McCasland's old program. I wonder if helped Bleed Green fill out their roster. Jefferson is killing it in this tournament.

Bleed Green falls to the Aftershock 70-69 on the Shockers' home court. I was a tough battle all night long.

Here to give a shout out to the Bleed Green UNT team. I was pulling for you guys tonight.

Now that your guys have this TBT experience, like the Blue Collor U team I think you will be an extremely tough out in future years to come.

Fouling Frankamp on a three point attempt with 3 seconds on the shot clock was the dagger. That being said, I was impressed by Bleed Green. Aftershocks needed the huge home court advantage to barely eek out the win.

Thanks. I was pissed when Bell fouled him on that three. What a boneheaded move. I felt like our guards were solid, but we need better bigs, if we hope to do better next year.

That foul by Bell was critical because the foul was after the shot and he missed. Instead it was 3 free points.
